We know how important trust is when it comes to designer pieces, it's why every item at CARRIED is authenticated before it reaches you. Now we're offering that same piece of mind for your own collection.

Whether you're buying, selling, or simply curious about a piece you already own, our Entrupy verified authentication service gives you a clear, professional answer. Entrupy technology is trusted by resellers and authenticators around the world.

How it Works

Drop off your item in person. Using Entrupy's advanced imaging technology, we'll analyze your piece against millions of data points from known authentic and counterfeit items.

What You'll Receive

If your item is confirmed authentic: a downloadable Entrupy Certificate of Authenticity, which you can keep for your records, print, or pass along if you ever sell the piece.

If your item's authenticity cannot be confirmed: a CARRIED-issued results summary, including the item details, scan date, and Entrupy's result. Since Entrupy doesn't issue a formal certificate for Unidentified results, we provide this documentation directly for your records.

FAQ
How long does authentication take?

For drop-off appointments, turnaround time is typically within 1 business day. In-person authentication is also available at select market pop-ups. Check our Instagram @carried_vintage for upcoming dates. At these markets, your item is scanned on-site while you wait, with results emailed to you within 24 hours for your records.
What brands can you authenticate?

Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Celine, Chanel, Chloe, Fendi, Givenchy, Goyard, Gucci, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Prada, Saint Laurent, and Valentino.
What if my item's authenticity cannot be confirmed?

This means the item did not match Entrupy's profile of known authentic pieces, it's not a guaranteed counterfeit determination, but it does indicate the item could not be verified as authentic. Since Entrupy does not issue a certificate in these cases, we will provide you with a CARRIED results summary documenting the scan and outcome for your records.

Is this available by mail?

No, authentication services are in-person only at this time. Either at our downtown Toronto location or at select market pop-ups (check our Instagram for upcoming dates).
Is payment required upfront?

Yes, payment is required at the time of booking.
